What Moms Really Want!

        It's not just a coincidence that this material is called 'Mother of Pearl'. Mother-of-pearl is the primary material used in cultivation of cultured pearls. So it can really be considered a mother in nature. The Latin word for pearl means "unique” which attests to the fact that no two pearls are identical. I think it should also apply to mother of pearl buttons. They have all lived long lives and have weather all storms and are still strong and beautiful.
